Working closely with Kaikoura District Council, DCM produced an extensive concept design package exploring the new Coastal Walkway proposed for the town.

DCM prepared a 3D model and subsequent visual package that included a series of plans, maps and rendered illustrations exploring over 3km of the proposed Coastal Walkway. These plans and images included details for specific areas such as the skatepark and community pool as well as a focus on existing connections, intersections and public safety. Considerations were taken to maintain and protect as much existing planting as possible, while providing plenty of parking and outdoor event space for locals and tourists alike.
