Victoria Street Digital Billboard, Christchurch

An urban design and landscape visual impact assessment was undertaken for a 8x4m, 9m high digital billboard on the corner of Salisbury and Victoria Streets in central Christchurch. This project involved the development of mitigation measures to assist with integrating the billboard into the receiving environment. A series of photomontages were generated to show potential different mitigation measures including the development of a non-fanciful building highlighting how a digital screen could be integrated into a future design.
